Once you are hired, you will be sent a contract of employment and requested to submit the following. Please be sure to confirm your consultant on whether or not you will take this position. This means you are at STEP 6 of the Hiring Proces as shown in our "How to apply" page.
If there is anything you are not fully sure about, do not make assumptions. Ask your consultant for help.

Signed Contract & Addenda : Three sets of the 11 page contract (33 pages in total) and one set of 4 page Addenda (Sign on each page please. Print contract must read Korean font instead of Brocken dots) |
| 2. | Copy of degree or degree confirmation certificate with apostille authenticated on it. You must get it notarized at a Notary Public first in order to get it apostilled. If you are Canadian, you can get it done at your nearest Korean Consulate. |
| 3. | Copy of passport (photo page only) |

Copy of teaching certificate if applicable (teaching license, TEFL, etc.) |

Two passport sized color photos (it must be an actual photo. Color prints will not be accepted. Write your name on the reverse side) |
| 6. | Certificate of employment as a teacher if applicable. Reference letters can replace them referring to contract term. |
| 7. |
Criminal background check from your home country apostille authenticated or notarized by Embassy in Korea and criminal background check in Korea. |
| 8. | 2nd reference letter if you submitted only one |
| 9. | Sealed university transcripts - send it along with your other documents, if you already have with you. If you need to request it, have your university mail it directly to SMOE's Address. |
